Secure Computing Program

Our Secure Computing Program will allow researchers to collect, store, analyze, share, and preserve their data in one secure environment. Researchers currently have access to 10GB of storage space (per project) free of charge. Additional storage options will become available in March/April 2017.

The Secure Computing Program will ultimately provide four additional services - data collection tools, data analysis tools, data sharing, and long-term data storage. The goal is to allow researchers to:

  • Collect and store research data in a secure environment that complies with UCalgary information classification standards, the Health Information Protection Act, and tri-council requirements
  • Quickly and easily collaborate with internal and external partners
  • View, analyze and store data for long-term periods
