DO YOU HAVE PTSD? Interested in trying a novel non-invasive treatment?

The purpose of this study is to assess whether transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) helps your brain to restore appropriate function. This is a non-invasive, drug-free therapy.

  • WHO: Individuals with a diagnosis of PTSD due to all causes
  • WHERE: Foothills Medical Centre 
  • WHAT: Initial assessment will include questionnaires, blood sample and a novel non-invasive MRI Imaging. You then will receive rTMS treatment for 2 weeks. Repeat questionnaires and blood samples within days of treatment and then at 1 month BENEFIT: rTMS treatment may improve symptoms associated with PTSD. As well, secondary benefits may include improved symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and headache.
