Planetary Health Courses

 

The Centralized Educational Programming team within Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME), in collaboration with Dr. Claire Barber, has developed two new Planetary Health courses for residents, faculty, and staff at the University of Calgary.
These courses introduce learners from all disciplines to Planetary Health, an increasingly vital area in health care education and clinical practice. Residents will explore foundational and action-oriented concepts, while faculty and staff are invited to participate alongside them offering a valuable opportunity for shared learning and knowledge renewal.

How to Register

All participants must self‑register through D2L.

  1. Go to https://d2l.ucalgary.ca
  2. Sign in using your University of Calgary credentials*
  3. Under My Tools, select Self Registration
  4. Choose PGME Planetary Health for Staff and Faculty
  5. Select your course: 
    • Planetary Health Foundations or
    • Planetary Health – Take Action
  6. Select Register, then Submit, Finish, and Done

You will receive a course enrollment confirmation email to your University of Calgary email address.**
