Navigator services

At the CCCR, we offer a full-service research Navigator that works with you to find the tools, resources, and services you need to advance your clinical research. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, have a question about research requirements or need help navigating the complex research ecosystem, the Navigator is the best place to start.

Our Navigator service supports university researchers and helps promote several key University of Calgary and Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) goals, including:

  • Helping researchers efficiently navigate the University’s clinical research services
  • Enhancing our CSM clinical research training program

  • Supporting researchers in using the upcoming Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and coordinating updates regarding the AHS ConnectCare rollout

What Our Navigator Does

As a role-based service, our navigator supports research projects and promotes relationships between stakeholder groups, including:

  • acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
  • maintaining up-to-date information on research services available and training opportunities;
  • developing and maintaining the information housed here on our website;
  • responding to training inquiries and coordinating training delivery;
  • coordinating preparation for events, conventions and conferences;
