Ainsley Smith and Akash Khaira win symposium awards

The McCaig Institute Summer Student Symposium was held virtually this year on August 13th. This year, summer students Akash Khaira and Ainsley Smith won awards for their presentations. Akash presented her research as a virtual poster presentation, titled: "Understanding chronic pain from knee osteoarthritis after total knee arthroplasty". Ainsley received an oral presentation and presented her research titled: "Validation of phantom-less calibration for CT muscle analysis". It was a very competitive symposium with many fantastic presentations. Akash won first place in her poster session and Ainsley won the fan favourite oral presentation. Congratulations!
