Biography

Kara is Research Associate for Dr. Kirsten Fiest, currently helping to coordinate the Transitions in Care team grant research program. She has a Master's degree in Public Health (Population Health) from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Science (Health Science) from Mount Royal University. Broadly, her research interests and career goals are to improve accessibility and approachability of health care.
