Nadine Foster

Nadine works with Dr. Fiest on the Transitions in Care research program. Nadine has personal experience as a  complex critical care patient. She is particularly interested in long term outcomes of the critical care population including delirium, Post ICU Syndrome, and smooth transitions. Additionally, Nadine was a caregiver to her mother in the ICU. From that experience she developed an interest in family presence during bedside rounds as well as quality end of life care for those who don't survive their ICU stay, Nadine has been actively involved in many committees and projects for the past several years and looks forward to continuing to advocate those impacted by a stay in the ICU.
