The ATSSL is proud to provide a variety of services and supports to users that are intended to enable high impact, cost-effective simulation based experiences for learners.

Simulation is a very resource intensive learning methodology, with thoughtful and thorough preparation being a key requirement for successful implementation. In order to determine the cost-effectiveness of any session meaningful evaluation needs to be conducted to determine impact and opportunities for ongoing improvements to curricula.

We are fortunate to have numerous users with extensive training and experience in the successful implementation of simulation based medical education, and we are constantly improving our own knowledge base as ATSSL staff members with the aim of sharing effective practices and lessons-learned with the simulation community locally, nationally and internationally. 

Providing guidance to users who are just beginning their journey with the goal of fostering their development into future simulation education experts is a key aspect of the ATSSL.
