We offer comprehensive transgenic services for University of Calgary investigators, as well as, provincial and international collaborators.
Transgenic Services operates on a stand-alone basis to offer:
- CRISPR generated KI/KO/CKO mice
- ROSA26 CRISPR targeted transgenesis
- ES Cell Embryo Aggregation
- ES Cell 8-cell or Blastocyst Injection
- Transgenic mouse production via pronuclear microinjection
- Embryo cryopreservation services
- Sperm cryopreservation services
- Mouse rederivation services (frozen/fresh embryos, sperm from repositories)
- Various mouse reproductive surgery services (ovariectomy, vasectomy)
- Sale of timed mouse pregnancies
- Breeding consultation services
- Chimera breeding
- Embryo harvesting
- Line rescue via IVF or ovary transplantation
