OBJECTIVES:
- Explain the process that led to the development POCT Choosing Wisely Canada recommendations for the acute care setting
- Summarize the seven POCT recommendations and identify the value of having them available in the acute care setting
- Describe how some of the POCT recommendations have been implemented in Alberta, and could be adopted at hospitals within Canada
