What is Virtual Care?
Virtual care allows you to meet with your healthcare provider by phone or video instead of coming to the clinic. You can join your appointment from the comfort and privacy of your home or another private place. During a virtual visit, you can talk about your pain or symptoms, ask questions, and work with your care team to make a treatment plan. You can also discuss what to do if your symptoms change or get worse. Together, you and your healthcare team will decide if virtual care is enough or if an in-person visit is needed.
