Lab Mission
The Autonomic Investigation and Management Lab at the University of Calgary studies novel approaches to managing and treating autonomic disorders such as orthostatic hypertension, vasovagal syncope, and postural tachycardia syndrome. Coupled with the Calgary Autonomic Investigation and Management Clinic, we aim to provide a center for autonomic care and innovation in western Canada.
Our clinical research is conducted in the Teaching, Research and Wellness building located at the Foothills Medical Centre campus of the University of Calgary. We utilize standard autonomic tests in various manners to further our understanding of both autonomic disorders and potential future therapies.
We are excited to see our research eventually translate to an improved quality of life for autonomic patients!
