Brain Stem cell AND Regeneration Group
We are a grassroots research group within Cumming School of Medicine with a vision to serve as the scientific home for those who use model systems to study fundamental aspects of the developing, adult, and/or regenerating brain. Our members are broadly interested in neuroglia, including neural stem cells, neural progenitors/radial glia, ependymal cells, tanycytes, astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, and microglia, and their interactions with neurons.
Brain StAR also is welcoming to those studying related topics who are looking for a science-first group and are willing to be an active participant in our sessions.
