What is CONECT?

What We Do

CONECT stands for "Cardiovascular Opportunities Network: Epidemiology and Clinical Trials". Our lab conducts industry-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies for the cardiac electrophysiology physicians at the University of Calgary, focusing on the epidemiology and management of patients with heart arrhythmias. These trials investigate implantable devices, investigational drugs, ablations, risk modification strategies, and new healthcare technology in the field of cardiac disease.
