For TEM we routinely process biological and materials science samples. For SEM we do not image samples that have loose Magnetic particles. Although we do not process samples for SEM imaging, we can provide you with the relevant protocol to assist you. For non-conductive samples, we have a Sputter coater that may be used.

We are always looking to expand the types of samples we image at our facility. If you would like to discuss a novel sample type or specimen, please contact us. For detailed information regarding the imaging capabilities of our instruments, visit our equipment page.

We have highly qualified Technicians who are responsible for imaging with our users. We require that for first few sessions our Technicians assist users with imaging.

Yes. We set it up so that during the initial sessions of your imaging, and we train you alongside the imaging session, using your own samples. Our hourly charges of Technician time and Machine times, as relevant for that session of imaging, would apply. We do not charge separately or extra for training.
