Completed Research Studies

The FAVR study was an observational study that aimed to further understand brain diseases, particularly cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA). With sites in both Calgary and Edmonton, participants underwent neuroimaging, blood sample collection, and cognitive testing over a 2-year period. The ultimate goal of the study was to develop new ways of diagnosing CAA and other conditions, as well as learn more about the prognosis of these conditions.
