Canadian Collaboration for Complex Care

We engage communities, connect with equity-deserving groups, collaborate with other researchers and organizations, and work towards better health care for all in Canada.

Who are we?

The Canadian Collaboration for Complex Care (C4) is a team of researchers, patient partners, clinicians, students, and community members passionate about amplifying patient and community voices around  their access to healthcare and the quality of care they receive.
Our work seeks to address racial and hierarchical power imbalances by encouraging those in authority to be more curious, compassionate, and respectful of the healthcare experiences of all patients and equity-deserving groups, in particular. Through our research, human-centred design (HCD) approaches, and community engagement, we provide ideas, research, awareness campaigns, education, tools, and programs to empower individuals and communities, and inform a system that is co-designed to be responsive, not reactive.
