Residents

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Calgary offers residency training in Emergency Medicine through a five-year program accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and a one-year enhanced skills program accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-EM). The Department of Emergency Medicine also offers elective rotations to off-service and visiting residents that wish to take advantage of the inspiring academic environment and rich clinical diversity at our four practicing sites in Calgary.
