Off-Service Residents

Adult emergency medicine rotations are mandatory for residents currently enrolled in the following training programs at the University of Calgary: 

- Cardiac surgery

- Family medicine

- General surgery

- Neurology

- Neurosurgery

- Oral surgery

- Orthopedic surgery

- Pediatric emergency medicine

These rotations will be arranged by your home department and coordinated through the DEM Office of Elective and Off-Service Education.  Orientation manuals and rotation call schedules can be found at http://calgaryem.com/calendar.

Residents in the following programs may apply for selectives in adult emergency medicine:

- Anesthesia

- Internal medicine

- Physical medicine and rehabilitation

- Sports Medicine
