The Simulation Advisory Committee is responsible for overseeing the simulation education for Emergency Medicine in Calgary. This includes the simulation programs at 4 adult Emergency departments with the medical students, Emergency Medicine residency programs, Emergency Medicine nurses, physicians and respiratory therapists. This committee reviews and maintains a compository of approved simulation scenarios for each program. The sharing of ideas and resources allows each program to develop in a collaborative and collegial way. This committee meets biannual in the Spring and Fall of each year.
