Environmental and Drug Testing (Overview)

ACFT serves as a public health toxicology lab for the Province of Alberta, performing environmental health testing (water, fish mercury, microcystins and radon) as well as drug testing for the Opioid Dependency Program.

Funded by Alberta Health, our testing services are provided at no charge to our designated, primary clients: 

• Alberta Health
• Alberta Health Services Zones of the Province of Alberta
• Alberta Health Services Opiate Drug Program

We also provide low-cost, fee-for-service testing in support of academic or medical researchers.
