Head & Neck Cancer
Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) are the seventh most common cancers globally, and the incidence is increasing in Canada. HNC are a group of cancers in the head and neck and include cancer in the mouth or oral cavity (lips, tongue, gums), the throat (pharynx), the voice box (larynx), nasal/sinus cavity, and salivary glands. The K2I Lab, in partnership with the Ohlson Research Initiative, aims to improve the clinical effectiveness of HNC care.
