Biography
I grew up in Iran and moved to Calgary in June 2023 to continue my research journey. In the lab, I’m passionate about research and love digging into experimental questions that connect basic science to real‑world impact. Outside of work, you can usually find me cooking (people insist I’m a good cook, and I don’t argue), reading, watching science‑fiction movies, or playing ping pong. I’m not a professional photographer, but whenever I’m out in nature I end up taking a lot of photos, my gallery has grown to more than 19,000 pictures.
