Patient Engagement Journal Club
The Patient Engagement Journal Club is hosted online, via Zoom, on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.
Training
We lead a number of varied training and capacity building opportunities:
Patient and Community Engagement Research:
A three-course certificate course delivered in partnership with University of Calgary Continuing Education to train patients and community members to lead qualitative research projects
Patient Engagement in Patient-Oriented Research Certificate:
A 10 week certificate from the Alberta SPOR SUPPORT Unit to aid researchers in developing a patient engagement plan.
The Canadian Common CV for Patient Research Partners Workshop:
A half-day workshop to introduce patient research partners to the grant application process, and the process of completing a Canadian Common CV.
Digital Storytelling Training:
A six-week program to train patients and community members to develop their own digital stories.
MDCH 700: Public and Patient Engagement in Health Research:
A graduate course at the University of Calgary about theories and practices of public and patient engagement in health research.
