PaCER Team Presentation Bios

Honouring Life PaCER Team

We are a group of diverse Indigenous students with different experiences and ways of thinking. Working together and understanding what was important ignited each members passion which helped in shaping our intentions, our ethics, and the way we conducted our research. This allowed the team members to each feel apart of the project, and enhanced our learning and ability to work together.

Seeing The Invisible Resilience (STIR) PaCER Team

The STIR Team is short for “Seeing the Invisible Resiliency”! They are all young adults that have been impacted by an invisible chronic disease or condition. Our team has 7 members – Angelina Horta, Haley Gross, Katelyn Greer, Mikaela Kraminsky, Priya Rai, Raegan Reiter, & Sam Morin. Their project explores the experiences of young adults with chronic autoimmune diseases navigating post-secondary education and they are sponsored by ACHRI led by Dr. Deborah Marshall.

WeCMV PaCER Team

The WeCMV team was sponsored by the Alberta Health Services Maternal Newborn Child & Youth Strategic Clinical Network and Dr Eliana Castillo’s Reproductive Infectious Diseases research team.
