PREVENT Study

The Predementia Neuroimaging of Transient Ischemic Attack (PREVENT) study investigates the connection between transient ischemic attacks (TIA) and the development of late-life dementia over a five-year period. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cognitive tests, and blood biomarkers are used to measure biosignals that occur before cognitive decline. This study aims to diagnose dementia at an earlier onset, to give TIA patients better outcomes in the future.

Stroke-IMPACT Study

The Stroke Immune Mediated Pathways and Cognitive Trajectory (Stroke-IMPACT) study aims to understand post-stroke cognitive decline by focusing on a possible maladaptive immune response.

SPIRAL

Simple Perfusion Reconstruction Algorithm (SPIRAL) is a clinical study that tests a new imaging algorithm designed to better detect acute stroke more effectively and efficiently at a lower cost. By improving this algorithm, we hope to improve future outcomes for patients that have suffered acute stroke.
