Dr. Ingrid Koslowsky is the Director of Calgary Radiopharmaceutical Centre, a centralized radiopharmacy centre. Dr. Koslowsky studied pharmacy at the University of Toronto and practiced retail and clinical pharmacy in Ontario before moving to Alberta. Dr. Koslowsky obtained her MSc, Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, from the University of Alberta in 1987 followed by a residency program in Radiopharmacy. In 2010, she received a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PET radiochemistry). Dr. Koslowsky has been responsible for providing radiopharmaceutical services in Calgary since 1989. She has an appointment in the Department of Radiology, University of Calgary enabling research projects in neuroendocrine disease and is a co-investigator in a Phase II study of 68Ga-HA-DOTATATE PET/CT in the evaluation of liver metastasis in adults with neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Koslowsky has also co-authored publications in the diagnosis of pyogenic spinal infection imaging using PET/CT. From a regulatory perspective, Dr. Koslowsky has presented and published on the validity of retrospective sterility testing of radiopharmaceuticals. Her current challenge is to enhance the accessibility to niche radiopharmaceuticals while managing affordability of in-house production of licenced diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals
