Promote Collaboration and Provide Training Opportunities
Collaboration Fuels Innovation and Upskill Yourself for the High-hanging Fruits
Events in Applied Spatial Omics Centre
ASOC hosts the Spatial Omics Seminar (SOS) and Hands-on Bioinformatics Workshop (HBW) Series for collaboration and training opportunities. Through these events, participants will prompt and facilitate discussion in Spatial Omics (and beyond) and have random interactions during the events. Lastly, SOS and HBW aim to introduce and teach attendees about Spatial Omics/Bioinformatics practically and answer any questions.
Spatial Omics is one of the recent areas of development in Life Science. It requires and involves both Wet- and Dry-lab experience, from data generation to analysis. Therefore, ASOC promotes collaboration and offers a Seminar for those who want to find and adopt new technologies in Spatial Transcriptomics. Ultimately, participants can find a collaborator who can work toward a common goal and put that goal into action.
ASOC recognizes the importance of training in Bioinformatics and provides an immersive, hands-on experience tailored to the specific needs and challenges in Bioinformatics data analysis. As such, ASOC hosts the Hands-on Bioinformatics Workshop Series in spatial transcriptomics, RNA-seq, and whole-genome sequencing data analysis. In addition to expression and mutation profiles, pharmacological profiles are a great asset for the model system and ASOC also offers a Workshop that advances your research.
