RIHSE is seeking collaborators. In the coming year, we will form a Program Evaluation Group and a Scientific Collaborative at RIHSE. If you are a graduate student, trainee or faculty at the University of Calgary and have interest and expertise in educational program evaluation or are interested in contributing to and participating in an academic community of practice in education research and scholarship, please contact Dr. Lara Cooke, lcooke@ucalgary.ca. We welcome individuals from any Faculty, with the goal of enhancing educational innovation and research through transdisciplinary engagement.

Call for Applications - Affiliate Member - RIHSE
Who this is for: Individuals interested in Health Sciences Education, Education Research, Education Scholarship, or Scholarship of Teaching and Learner. No advanced training in HSE needed. We welcome membership applications, on a rolling basis, from members of the University of Calgary community who care about health sciences, health professions, or medical education. What does membership mean? 1. Receive access to regular updates about RIHSE and Health Sciences Education activities and offerings internal and external to the University of Calgary. 2. Become a part of a welcoming and inclusive community of individuals who care about the scholarship, science, and research of health sciences education 3. Opportunities to network for purposes of finding collaborators, mentors, and research partners 4. Access to consultation services to support your research design and program evaluation work for educational innovations 5. Access to archived keynote presentations and rounds on HSE topics What will you be asked to do? 1. Members agree to have their names and affiliations shared publicly in Annual Reports and RIHSE materials and made available to other members seeking connections for HSE scholarship/mentorship and partnerships 2. Report to RIHSE when you have a successful HSE research project (completed innovation, abstract, presentation, paper, successful grant application) so that we can amplify your successes! 3. Join us!! Please attend some of our events and rounds and contribute where you can!
