REDCap is a highly secure, browser based application designed to support Electronic Data Capture (EDC) for research studies. The Centre for Health Informatics (CHI) in the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine is the university’s primary provider of REDCap access and support services. The CHI's REDCap instance is validated and supports regulatory trials, including phase 3 clinical trials. The UCalgary Survey Tool, powered by Qualtrics, is a top-of-the-line survey platform for conducting online surveys. The University of Calgary purchased an institutional license allowing all active students, faculty and staff free and easy access to the tool.
