RIHSE EVENTS

The Western Summit is the first annual meeting for Health Professions Education
(HPE) researchers and scholars in Western Canada. The Summit is being co-hosted by
the Centre for Research and Innovation in Health Sciences Education (RIHSE) at the
University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine and the Centre for Health
Education Scholarship (CHES) at the University of British Columbia.
This two-day meeting will be an intensive HPE research conference consisting of
in-depth research presentations and discussions of 60 to 90 minutes. The goal is to
provide opportunities for HPE researchers, graduate students and fellows to connect
and network with fellow scholars for their own professional development and to share
research ideas, questions, and feedback in a relaxed atmosphere in Calgary, Alberta.
