Foothills Campus Inclusive Spaces
The Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) is working to ensure that the Foothills campus space functions to support the needs of our community, while also fostering inclusion and belonging.
Washrooms For All
The Foothills campus has a number of gender neutral and accessible washroom facilities. Several of these facilities have baby change stations and/or period products (tampons, pads).
Multi-Faith Rooms
There are drop-in multi-faith rooms at the Foothills campus, that can be used for prayer, reflection, meditation, and other faith-based activities: Rooms HSC 1002 (women only) and Room HSC 1004 (mixed gender). Room HSC 1001 (mixed-gender) will also be available for use for the month of March 2025 only (please note the partition is currently removed in HSC 1001).
Lactation Space
The lockable lactation space located within the student lounge (G730) on Foothills campus is overseen by the Student Advocacy and Wellness Hub (SAWH). The space has a sink, fridge, microwave, and comfy seating. The space is open to staff, faculty, and learners.
