MR Training
Target Group: All research personnel who will observe or assist with scans at the 3T. Level 0 is required to gain access to the card access-controlled MR area, but is NOT sufficient for entry to the MR room.

Target Group: All research personnel who are booking participants for studies on the 3T or assisting in the MR room. These individuals must have completed Level 0 training. Any study personnel enrolling, pre-screening, consenting or entering the scanning room must complete Level 1 safety training.

- Monitor emails for information regarding the next available onsite session
- Complete Screening Form – DO NOT EMAIL this form. Forms are available on site if bringing a printed, completed copy is not possible.
- Attend onsite portion of training
NOTE: After 1 year of non-participation in the MR environment, the training process should be repeated.
Target Group: Level 2 training is intended for individuals directly operating the GE 3T scanner for research without supervision and requiring 'expert' privileges. These individuals must have completed Level 1 training.

Mock Scanner Training
Target group: All research personnel who want to bring participants for a mock (MRI simulation) scanner session.
The training consists of a review of the mock scanner equipment and software. Once the training is completed, you will be given access to the booking calendar (Calpendo) that is described in the Calpendo guide. Please contact the CAIR Research Associate to express your interest in this training.
