Biography
Dr. Signe Bray is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Calgary and the Scientific Director of the Child and Adolescent Imaging Research (CAIR) Program. She is originally from Ontario, Canada, and completed undergraduate training at the University of Waterloo, graduate work at the California Institute of Technology and postdoctoral training at Stanford University and the University of Calgary. Her research uses functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to study brain development and the effects of neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum and preterm birth, on the brain. She collaborates extensively with researchers in many areas of neurodevelopment and child and adolescent mental health. Her work has been funded by CIHR, NSERC and the SickKids Foundation.
