Dr. Xing-Chang Wei is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology and a staff radiologist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Wei received his medical degree and completed his radiology residency training at the West China University of Medical Sciences. He had practiced as a staff neuroradiologist at the same institute before he had a research fellowship training in neuroimaging at the Harvard Medical School. This was followed by a clinical fellowship in pediatric radiology at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and a clinical fellowship in pediatric neuroradiology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Dr. Wei has been a staff radiologist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and faculty member of the University of Calgary since 2005. His clinical work encompasses both general pediatric radiology and pediatric neuroradiology. He has been involved in multiple research projects and has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Wei also has been giving regular teaching sessions to radiology and neurology residents in past years.

Dr. Wei is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada being certified in Diagnostic Imaging.
