Biography
Dr. Cody van Rassel is a researcher with the Data Intelligence for Health Lab under the supervision of Dr. Joon Lee. His research focuses on developing AI-driven approaches for cardiovascular health, with an emphasis on medical imaging, multimodal data integration, and clinical decision support.
He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and a PhD in Kinesiology with a specialization in wearable technology from the University of Calgary. His training and research bridge the gap between physiology, computer science, and biomedical engineering.
