Biography

Gord Jewett studied software engineering, obtain his medical degree, and completed his residency in neurology at the University of Calgary. He is currently pursuing a clinical fellowship in neuromuscular neurology while completing his MSc in neuroscience under the supervision of Dr. Joon Lee and Dr. Lawrence Korngut. His thesis research is focused on machine learning techniques applied to wearable sensor data for prediction of clinical outcomes in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He is the father of two lovely little girls, and in his spare time he likes to take them exploring in the Rocky Mountains by foot, bike and ski.
