Ty Werbicki

Biography

I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Calgary majoring in Biomedical Science with a minor in Statistics and a significant focus on mathematical finance as well. I am working on a project with Dr. Joon Lee and Dr. Filipe Lucini regarding the elucidation of optimal vasopressor administration to promote normotension in septic patients housed in Intensive Care Units.

My primary interests include machine learning, biostatistics, high-performance computing, and dynamic hedging, and how these different fields can supplement each other to improve results. When I am not in front of the screen, I enjoy tuning into political matters, soccer, hockey, and combat sports.
