MPAS Application Review Process

Administrative review and screening

Our admissions process begins with a comprehensive review, ensuring that all applicants meet the foundational criteria for admission. This process is aligned with the university’s commitment to creating a dynamic and future-focused academic environment.

Comprehensive evaluation

The MPAS Program Admissions Committee thoroughly reviews all aspects of an application, including academic achievements, personal essays, and experiences.

All applicants are required to list the number of hours, location of experience, and role, and provide a name and phone number of contacts who can verify the information provided.  A rubric will be developed by the committee to evaluate the types of experiences and contributions made.

Interview invitations will be extended to the top ranked students based on the screening process.

Interviews

The interview stage is a critical component of our admissions process, allowing us to assess a range of traits and characteristics essential for future healthcare professionals.

Qualified applicants will be invited via email to participate in an interview process. Interviews are conducted by a diverse panel, including faculty, community members, and allied health professionals, ensuring a process that is attuned to the diverse needs of the healthcare sector.

Final Review

The MPAS Program Admissions Committee will conduct a final review of the files of all the interviewed applicants and hold deliberations to make final determinations regarding admissions offers.

Admissions Offers

In line with the strategic vision of "Ahead of Tomorrow," admission offers are extended to candidates who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also the qualities necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Applicants will be notified of the decisions of the MPAS Admissions Committee (date TBD).
