The Alberta Kidney Disease Network (AKDN) is a collaborative network of Nephrology Researchers located in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta. The AKDN aims to study and evaluate trends in the prevalence of kidney disease and adequacy of care for patients with kidney disease, and to implement and evaluate strategies to improve the health and well-being of individuals with kidney disease. 

Can-SOLVE CKD is a Canadian patient-oriented kidney research network working towards transforming care for Canadians living with or at-risk for chronic kidney disease. Their goal is that by 2020, Canadians with or at high-risk for chronic kidney disease will receive the best recommended treatment and care and experience optimal outcomes, regardless of age, sex, gender, location, or ethnicity. 

CANN-NET is a collaborative network of Nephrology researchers working towards improving the care and outcomes of patients with and at-risk for chronic kidney disease. Using existing laboratory and administrative databases, we can track the effectiveness of knowledge translation on process of care and clinical outcomes for patients, and identify knowledge gaps in kidney disease research.

The Kidney Foundation of Canada (KFOC) is the national health charity committed to kidney health and improving lives of all people living with kidney disease. KFOC relies on the extensive network of volunteers, staff and doctors to promote kidney health, provide support to those living with kidney disease and if possible, the elimination of the burden of kidney diseases.
