Cancellation Policy
- Pre-Course of ASAC May 13, 2022
- Up to May 6, 2022, 11:59 pm - Cancellation requests must be received by emailing cmereg@ucalgary.ca. Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee of $50/course to be retained by CME&PD.
- May 7, 2022, onwards - if you are unable to attend the conference, due to contractual obligations with the catering and AV service providers, CME&PD is unable to provide refunds.

- Feeling unwell on the day of? You may attend available virtual sessions and workshops and/or access materials (if available) up to 3 months after the event.
Changes or Cancellations of the Hybrid Event
There may be more times in the future where we will be forced to shift quickly in terms of course program and delivery format as we navigate our transition out of the COVID-19 pandemic. CME&PD and affiliated service providers are not liable for any expenditure, loss, or damage of any kind incurred by registrants because of such course substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement.
CME&PD reserves the right to remove the in-person option of the hybrid event. If you registered for in-person attendance, CME&PD will change your registration to the virtual attendance and refund the difference.
If CME&PD elects to cancel the entire hybrid event, your registration will be refunded.
Health and Safety (In-person)
The health and safety for our learners, faculty, staff, and event support services are of utmost importance to CME&PD. CME&PD events will meet or exceed requirements set forth by the University of Calgary and Alberta Health. The following health and safety policies will apply to all in-person registrants, faculty, and staff. These guidelines reflect local health and safety protocols and formulated for the safety of registrants and those involved with event organization. Those that cannot comply will be asked to leave and no refunds will apply.
CME&PD will continuously monitor the latest COVID-19 pandemic protocols and guidelines to ensure the most up-to-date health and safety protocols are in place and followed. Check this page frequently for the latest information. All registered attendees will be notified by email of event updates, including health and safety policies.
Masks
- Non-medical masks must be worn in all indoor areas of the conference area
- Masks may only be removed when actively consuming food or drink
Additional Safety Measures
- Available space will be used wisely, meaning configuration of room to spread out and use of directional arrows
- Working with the venue for food and serving options with consideration for safety and convenience
Food and Beverages
- Canned or bottled beverages will be provided at nutrition breaks and lunchtime
- Individually packaged boxed lunch will be provided
- Tea and Coffee will not be served
