Centre for Mindfulness

Weekly drop-in mindfulness sessions are provided on Zoom. All CSM students and staff are welcome.

At the Foothills campus, you can find Fentanyl testing strips and Naloxone kits in the SAWH office at HSC G740.

Free condoms, dams, and female condoms can be found at the SAWH office in HSC G740. Provided to SAWH by SafeLink Alberta. 

Headversity

Headversity is the industry’s first preventative assistance platform (PRE.A.P.), offering proactive and digital mental health training experiences for the entire workforce.

Neurodivergent Peer to Peer Social Group

This group was created to support CSM Neurodivergent learners by building connections, learn, grow and thrive together, while embracing and celebrating each other's neurodivergent identities.

Therapy Animals

SAWH has partnered with volunteer programs to have therapy dogs and cats visit the office.

CSM Peer to Peer Program

A non-judgemental and confidential space for CSM students to drop in and talk with a trained peer. G740. Every other Thursday from 12:30-1:30pm. See SAWH Calendar for dates.

Mental Health and Wellness Resources

Kinetix Fitness & Wellness Centre

The Kinetix Fitness Centre is a 5,000-square-foot facility located on the first floor of the Cal Wenzel Precision Health (CWPH) Building on the Foothills Medical Centre site.

There is a drop-in multi-faith room at the Foothills campus. This room holds approximately 10 people. It has two spaces separated by a partition.

At Student Wellness Services at the main campus, Neurodiversity Support Advisors provide wellness support for students and those who are exploring their identity around neurodiversity.

The Foothills campus has a number of gender neutral and accessible washroom facilities. Some also have baby change stations.

Lockable lactation space located within the student lounge (G730) with a sink, fridge and microwave and comfy seating - open to staff, faculty, and learners.
