GDM (Gestational Diabetes) Class

Gestational Diabetes (GDM) is a type of diabetes that can occur in pregnancy. GDM can be managed, and you can expect to have a happy, healthy baby. Our classes will help you to understand the condition and how to manage it.

If you have been scheduled for a GDM class, please complete the following:

Before attending the class:

  1. Print off, or save the following handouts to start filling in after your online session:

  3. Read the following handouts before your session. We will be talking more about these handouts during the session.
  4. Get a Blood Glucose Meter: Go to your pharmacy for a blood glucose meter. It does not matter which brand you get. Click here for a letter to give to your doctor or pharmacist if needed. Click here for videos on how to use your brand of meter.
  5. Prepare for Zoom: 
    • By joining our session you agree to the terms and conditions that are listed here. If you decide you do not want to attend, please call us at the number for the location you have been referred to:

At the time of the class:

  1. Open the email you got from the Diabetes in Pregnancy clinic.
  2. Click on the Zoom link within that email.
  3. Join the class.
