Rolling Deadline (new January 2024)

Starting January 2024, PGME is introducing a new rolling deadline for the Resident Grant Programs. The application window will now be open every third Friday of the month, allowing residents to submit applications for conferences/events at any point in the future. This change is applicable to both the Resident Leadership Grant program and the Resident Research Grant program.

Key Changes:

1. New Rolling Deadline: The application submission window will be open every third Friday of the month for any conference in the future. Conference dates must occur AFTER the deadline, and retroactive applications will not be accepted. This will provide greater flexibility for residents to plan and apply for conferences/events.

2. Proof of Acceptance Requirement: To streamline the application process and ensure a more efficient review, PGME will now require proof of acceptance for presentations as part of the application. This requirement applies only to the Resident Research Grant program.

3. Application Review Timeline: Applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified of the decision within a two-week period.
