BCR & BHSc Research Symposium: Celebrating Student Research
Since its inception in 2006, the Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) Research Symposium, now known as the BCR & BHSc Research Symposium has been a cornerstone event showcasing the outstanding research conducted by undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Health Sciences and Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation programs at the University of Calgary.
After only two missed years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Symposium has returned stronger than ever, growing into a vibrant celebration of student inquiry, creativity, and academic excellence. Each year, the event brings together students, faculty, and staff to highlight innovative research projects conducting by students over the past year.
The 2025 Symposium featured over 60 poster presentations and 4 oral presentations, reflecting the breadth and depth of research being undertaken by our students. From laboratory discoveries to community-based studies, the evening offers a glimpse into the future of health science and rehabilitation research.
Join us in recognizing the dedication and achievements of our students as they share their findings, insights, and passion for advancing health and wellbeing. The BCR and BHSc Research Symposium continues to be an inspiring tradition — one that celebrates curiosity, collaboration, and the impact of student research at the University of Calgary.
