About Us

QuICR is a pan Alberta initiative to improve stroke outcomes through rapid clinical and imaging evaluation combined with fast treatment. It is a partnership project of the Cardiovascular Health and Stroke Strategic Clinical Network.

The QuICR team is comprised of dedicated clinical and non-clinical team members all striving to push a door-to-needle time of a median 30 minutes across Alberta and aiming for same day treatment of 80% of transient ischemic attack patients. The QuICR initiative incorporates research and knowledge translation to deliver on these goals.
