Our mission is to improve the cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal health of patients with neurological disorders through integrative research and technological innovation.

Our team is comprised of Scientists and Clinicians with the expertise to conduct multidisciplinary and integrative clinical research in spinal cord injury, stroke, and other neuromotor impairments.

RESTORE

Research Objectives

The RESTORE Network seeks to achieve its mission by focusing on the following:

  1. To lead innovative and multi-disciplinary (musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular) clinical trials utilizing neural stimulation for recovery from spinal cord injury.  

  1. To improve cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal health and patient function through the use and innovation of novel rehabilitation technology.  

  1. To study spinal cord injury, stroke and movement impairment throughout the entire continuum of the pathological process. 

  1. To establish an exemplary and world-recognized facility and program for clinical research and training of HQP. 

  1. To engage patients and the community in all aspects of research to ultimately improve patient care.
