Choosing Wisely Alberta (CWA) supports clinicians, academic leaders, and health system partners in advancing evidence-informed, patient-centered care across the province. Through collaboration, implementation, and quality improvement, we work to reduce low-value care and strengthen the sustainability of Alberta’s health system.
Join us for the Choosing Wisely Alberta Symposium on June 8th!
This symposium is designed to foster peer-to-peer learning and practical collaboration across three focused streams: Deprescribing in Seniors, Reducing Unnecessary Out-Patient Laboratory Testing, and Reducing Antimicrobial Use in Primary Care.
Abstract submissions are now open for the Choosing Wisely Alberta Symposium. Clinicians, researchers, trainees, and interprofessional team members are invited to share research, quality improvement, and practice change initiatives that help reduce low-value tests and treatments across Alberta.
