Bridging the Knowledge Gap for Lasting Impact: Knowledge Mobilization

Join us for the skill-building workshop at the 2025 Celebrating Our Future Student/Trainee Showcase!

What will you get out of this workshop?

Many of us enter a research career to make a difference, contribute new knowledge, or address an important challenge in the world. However, producing research mainly for other researchers is often not enough to realize that impact. Knowledge mobilization (KMb) is all about getting the right information to the right people in the right format at the right time. It can involve building awareness, sharing findings, and enabling use of research knowledge to create positive impacts and benefits for all.

This hands-on, participatory session will take attendees on a knowledge mobilization journey, through setting goals, identifying and analyzing audiences and partners, and selecting appropriate activities to reach them.
