The Spondyloarthropathy clinic, located within the Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre, specializes in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of numerous forms of Spondyloarthropathy - a family of inflammatory rheumatic diseases that cause arthritis in the entheses (the connective tissue where ligaments and tendons attach to the bones). We provide care to patients that focuses on restoring function and improving quality-of-life through cutting-edge diagnostic techniques and access to specialized treatments. Appointments are available by referral only.

As Spondyloarthropathy is different from other forms of arthritis, in that it doesn’t specifically involve the inside of the joints, it often causes symptoms in the spine and sometimes in the arms, hands, feet and legs. If you are diagnosed with Spondyloarthropathy, our medical team will work with you to help reduce inflammation, treat your symptoms and minimize the likelihood of permanent damage.

This clinic is active in clinical trials, and opportunities for participation may be available. Interpreter/translation services are available upon request, please inquire before your scheduled appointment.
